Hi all,
We committed to regularly updating you on our progress on areas of concern raised by broadband customers on Vodafone View and in particular in relation to the upgrade program for exchanges.
We continue to work with our supplier to investigate regional areas that are experiencing DSL speed reductions in the evening and to establish timeframes for improvements. The vast majority of customers are not experiencing speed reductions; but again, we appreciate the impact on those that are.
We now have 37 sites identified throughout Ireland that are currently experiencing very heavy internet traffic at peak times. The timelines for upgrades (where known) are now shown below. Some upgrades may complete slightly sooner or later than the dates shown.
The following exchanges are currently being upgraded and work is set to complete by approximately mid-March: (Please note dates can vary)
Killarney (KLN09), Edgeworthstown (ETW03), Drogheda (DBC12), Castlebar (CBR14), Balbriggan (BRN04), Enniscorthy (ETY11), Bunclody (BUO02) Termonfeckin (TFN03), Ashbourne (ABE03), Achill Sound (AHS01) and Belmullet (BML03).
Work is also scheduled for the below exchanges with this set to complete by approximately mid-April: (Please note dates can vary)
Bailieboro (BBO03), Ennistymon (ETN02), Kilkenny (KNY23), Mallow (MLW11) and Templemore (TME02)
We also have a number of other exchanges currently being investigated by our supplier and will let you know when this work is set to complete in future updates:
Killorglin (KRG06), Abberdorney (ANY01), Killerisk (KIK03), Monaghan (MGN06), Millstreet (MST02), Letterkenny (LKY09), Castleisland (CID03), Mervue (MVW47), Castlebar (CBR19), Ballyshannon (BSH03), Letterkenny (LKY32), Skerries (SKS02), Sixmilebridge (SBE02), Corrandulla (CDA01), Dunleer (DLR03), Quaker Road (QKR45), Middleton (MDN11), Gorey (GRY07), Ballincollig (BNC04) and Innishannon (ISN03)

Again, It should be noted that managing capacity is an ongoing task and therefore the list can change frequently as new areas are identified and as usage patterns change. However, we remain committed to providing you with ongoing and regular updates as new information becomes available.
Darren,
Vodafone View team.
