Hi Folks,
If you're getting issues with accessing Facebook, YouTube or specific sites, with the error below, please post here.
The issue is caused by an age restriction on your account.
For pay monthly customers, we can get these up and running within 24 hours, while prepay customers can request the removal of the restriction by presenting photo ID at a Vodafone store.

Example of the error:

10.163.19.201:80/XMPBlocked/holdingpage

Thanks!

Hi Grador

Could you give it around 24 hours and try again?

Hello!
It seems I am having a similar problem, but I don't get that particular error message. As it appears, I am unable to conect to apps like Youtube if not connected to a WiFi, not on 3g nor in normal connection.
Would you kindly check if there is any age restriction/blockings set up for my account that prevent this?

Thanks in advance and my apologies if this is not the right place for this query,

PS.The internet connection without 3g is ridiculously slow...any reason/fix for that?

Hi Conor_ie

If you can give this about 24 hours you'll be up and running.

You just need to power off and on again :)

Can someone help. Cant get jelly sms free texts to work. The app developer says only vodafone can correct and directed me to this forum.

Basically I recently bought an Iphone with vodafone. Im told jellysms was a very good app to send texts. I bought app on Thursday. I get 2 error messages when trying to send, the first one says the message can't be sent because jelly sms is not connected to the internet and then when I try send it a second time I get a message saying the Vodafone.ie webtext service is currently unavailable - which is untrue because when I log on from my work pc I can send webtexts from Vodafone.ie no problem.

App developer says its an APN issue and predicted that I would not be able to log into the vodafone website on my I phone browser (safari) either. He was right, the error message 'safari cannot open this page because the server cannot be found' popped up.

Apparrently lots of vodafone users have the same problem.

Appreciate any help

Hi blee23,Elly and mike33

If you could all power off and on again...

Could you also synch with iTunes if you haven't already done so.

Thanks
Paul

Hi Elly

Is the issue occuring with all radio apps or only certain ones?

Could you let us know how many bars of 3g signal you have and which apps you are having trouble with?
