Difficult connecting to internet on new sony ericsson vivaz

I bought a Sony Ericsson Vivaz two weeks ago and i am quite disappointed as when i try to connect to vodafone live or any web page, it either displays a blank page in which i go to options and add a web address and press "go to" but it does'nt connect at all and secondly, it tells me it cannot connect or "packet data unavailable", is there any way of fixing this problem? as the phone was quite expensive and the internet is needed, im surprised as i never had any problem connecting to the internet with previous cheaper phones

You might want to get the age restriction removes from your profile to get access to the Internet. By default the age restriction incur when you buy new handset. The mods can set it up for you.

Hi Roxy
I have updated your profile so please turn off and on and try again. If still not able to open pages;
To run Auto Internet settings:

From the Home screen, find and tap Settings.
Tap Basic settings > Settings download.
Select Vodafone and tap OK.
Note: Internet and MMS settings are downloaded to your phone when inserting a new SIM card. You may just need to activate them.

im having the same problem with mine... the phone is ****.... nothing seems to work with it. i sent mine back to vodafone and they sent it back saying nothing was wrong. last time i buy a phone with them....
