Hi,

I've had my Tocco Ultra for over a year now and I've still yet to find a use for it's GPS reciever... Google maps wasn't initially included and when I downloaded it it refused to use my GPS instead of the cell tower triangulation (for some unknown reason??) Does anyone know of any applications I can download for my phone or any other use for the GPS? =/

Hi Sam
The maps themselves have to use the mobile network to download to the phone. Once the maps are there the navigation happens over GPS.
Apart from using it for directions some people use it also for location sharing with friends as with google latitude.You could use it for finding restaurants, taxi ranks etc. in your vicinity.
